Latin-rite diocese covering the Mai-Ndombe lake region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, seated in Inongo. Established as an apostolic vicariate 29 June 1953 and elevated to a diocese 10 November 1959; it is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Kinshasa.

The city of Inongo, in the ecclesiastical province of Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, gives its name and seat to the Diocese of Inongo (Latin: Inongoën(sis)).
