The Archdiocese of Guangzhou (Canton) is the Latin rite metropolitan archdiocese for Guangdong, China, erected as the Prefecture Apostolic of Kwangtung in 1848 and elevated to metropolitan rank in 1946. Its seat is the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Guangzhou. Joseph Gan Junqiu, ordained with papal consent in 2007, is the current archbishop.
