The Diocese of Kangding (Tatsienlu) is a Latin Catholic diocese in the ecclesiastical province of Chongqing in western China, with its see at Kangding in Sichuanese Tibet. It was established on 27 March 1846 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Lhasa for the Mission of Tibet and elevated to a diocese in 1946. The see has been vacant since 1962; its cathedral is the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Kangding, rebuilt in 1997 after the original was demolished in the Cultural Revolution.

History
Founded on March 27, 1846 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Lhasa for the Mission of Tibet, the Diocese of Kangding (formerly spelled Kangting; Latin: Dioecesis Camtimensis; Chinese: 天主教康定教區) is a Latin Catholic diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the Metropolitan of Chongqing in western China, still dependent on the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Its episcopal see is the city of Kangding in Sichuanese Tibet, called Dartsedo or Tatsienlu by the Tibetans. The see has stood vacant since 1962.
