The Diocese of Amiens is a Latin rite diocese covering the Somme department in northern France, with origins in the 3rd century. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Reims. Its seat is the Cathedral Basilica of Notre-Dame in Amiens, the largest Gothic cathedral in France.

History
The department of Somme, whose capital is the city of Amiens, constitutes the Diocese of Amiens (Latin: Dioecesis Ambianensis; French: Diocèse d'Amiens), a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in France. An estimate for 2022 put the ratio at one priest for every 6,916 Catholics in the diocese.
