The Diocese of Viviers is a Latin rite diocese covering the Ardeche department in France, with origins in the 4th century. Suppressed from 1801 to 1823, it was restored under Bishop Andre Molin and is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Lyon. Its seat is the Cathedral of St. Vincent in Viviers.

History
Erected in the 4th century and restored under the Concordat of 1822, the Diocese of Viviers (Latin: Dioecesis Vivariensis; French: Diocèse de Viviers [djɔsɛz də vivje]) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in France, covering the department of Ardèche in the Region of Rhône-Alpes. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Lyon. The city of Viviers sits on the west (left) bank of the Rhône River, just south of where the River L'Escoulay meets the Rhône, about 52 km. north of Orange.
