The Diocese of East Anglia is a Latin rite diocese covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire and the Soke of Peterborough in England, erected on 13 March 1976 from the Diocese of Northampton by Pope Paul VI. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Westminster and contains the national Marian shrine at Walsingham. Its seat is the Cathedral of St John the Baptist in Norwich.

History
The historic counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire in the East of England, together with the Soke of Peterborough, form the territory of the Diocese of East Anglia (Latin: Diœcesis Angliæ Orientalis), a Latin diocese of the Catholic Church. The diocese forms part of the Catholic Association Pilgrimage.
