The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle is a Latin rite diocese covering Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and County Durham in England. Erected as the Diocese of Hexham on 29 September 1850 at the restoration of the hierarchy (the ancient see of Hexham dates to 678), it took its present name in 1861 and joined the Province of Liverpool in 1911. Its seat is St Mary's Cathedral in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Centred on St Mary's Cathedral in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle (Latin: Dioecesis Hagulstadensis et Novocastrensis) is a Latin Catholic diocese. Its territory follows the historic boundaries of County Durham and Northumberland, and it is one of the six suffragan sees of the ecclesiastical province of Liverpool.
