Latin-rite diocese in western Honduras, erected 27 April 2021 from the Diocese of Santa Rosa de Copan. Suffragan of the Archdiocese of San Pedro Sula since the province was created in 2023 (initially under Tegucigalpa). Its seat is Saint Mark Cathedral in Gracias, Lempira.
