History
Parts of Eluru district, Konaseema district, and West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh, India, make up the Diocese of Eluru. Carved from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Vijayawada, the territory was erected as a diocese by Pope Paul VI on 9 December 1976.
