In southern India, the Eparchy of Idukki belongs to the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church and forms part of the ecclesiastical province of Eranakulam-Angamaly. Saint George's Cathedral Vazhathoppe, in Idukki township, Kerala, serves as its cathedral church.
