Bishop David P. Talley appointed Father Casey Weber as chancellor for the Catholic Diocese of Memphis. The appointment became effective on Monday, October 26.
Father Weber will continue his current role as adjutant judicial vicar and will remain in residence at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Father James Clark continues to serve as judicial vicar, where he leads the diocesan tribunal, and as pastor of Holy Rosary Catholic Parish.

The Diocese of Memphis Catholic Youth Ministry will host the SEARCH Retreat for high school juniors and seniors from November 20 to 22. The weekend retreat will take place at the Church of the Incarnation in Collierville.
The retreat is designed to help students deepen their Catholic faith and develop their relationships with Jesus and others. Registration is currently open through the diocese, and organizers noted that spaces are filling quickly.

The Diocese of Memphis has opened registration for the QUEST Retreat for ninth and tenth grade students.
The retreat will take place from 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, until 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15. The event will be held at the Church of the Incarnation in Collierville.
The program uses a theme of three circles of love to encourage reflection on the love of self, neighbor, and God. Participants will engage in group exercises, discussions, talks, and the Sacraments. Students can register using the QR codes provided on the diocesan flyers, which are available in English and Spanish.

The Diocese of Memphis began Vocations Awareness Week and its Called by Name initiative on October 26. The program runs through December 8, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.
The initiative asks parishioners to prayerfully identify and recommend men and women they believe are called to the priesthood, diaconate, or consecrated life. The diocese encourages people to submit names of individuals who demonstrate leadership, service, faith, and a love for Christ and the Church.
Nominations can be submitted through the Office of Vocations webpage on the diocesan website. The program is part of an effort to foster vocations throughout the diocese.
