கண்டி அம்பிட்டிய தேசிய குருமட 2026,27ஆம் கல்வியாண்டு அங்குரார்ப்பண நிகழ்வு

National Seminary Ampitiya held an inauguration ceremony for the 2026/27 academic year on Thursday, October 1. Pope's Apostolic Nuncio to Sri Lanka, Archbishop Andre Jozwiowicz, presided over the Mass.

The program included presenting certificates to high-achieving students from the previous year, introducing a Learning Management System (LMS), and submitting the college's annual report. Father Vimal Trimana from the Society of the Divine Saviour delivered an opening lecture regarding the role of the Synod in the formation of seminary students.

Priests, religious brothers, and sisters attended the event organized by principal Father Quirinus Fernando. The seminary currently educates 272 students from various dioceses and religious orders.
