Diocese of Terni–Narni–Amelia to celebrate Transito of Saint Francis

The Diocese of Terni–Narni–Amelia will hold celebrations for the Transito of Saint Francis at the Convent of the Santissima Annunziata in Amelia.

A prayer vigil is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, at 21:00, followed by Mass on Sunday at 18:00. The diocese selected an image by Domanico Bruschi, who painted the Annunciation above the high altar at the convent and the frescoes in the Chapel of the Transito of Saint Francis at the Porziuncola in Assisi.
