Archbishop Antonio D'Angelo to preside over All Saints' Day Mass

Archbishop Antonio D'Angelo will preside over the All Saints' Day Mass at the Chiesa Parrocchiale di S. Maria del Soccorso in L’Aquila on November 1 at 16:00. The liturgy will be followed by a blessing of the Camposanto.

On Monday, November 2, the Archbishop will preside over the Mass at the Chiesa di S. Maria del Suffragio at 18,30.

The Apostolic Penitenzierai has granted a plenary indulgence for the souls in Purgatorio to the faithful who visit the cemetery and pray for the deceased between November 1 and November 8. On the day of the Commemorazione di tutti i Fedeli Defunti, the indulgence also requires a visit to a church or oratorio and the recitation of a Padre nostro and a Credo. A partial indulgence for the souls in Purgatorio is available to those who visit the cemetery and pray for the deceased, or who recite the Lodi or Vespri of the Ufficio dei defunti or the invocation L’eterno riposo.
