Szent Gellért Alapítvány Nappali Foglalkoztató Központ fills summer with activities

The Szent Gellért Foundation Day Center filled its summer schedule with activities designed to help its wards develop skills for independent living. According to a report from the Archdiocese of Alba Iulia, the center organized programs involving learning, creativity, physical movement, and communal work.

Participants practiced practical skills such as baking banana bread and used clocks to learn about the passage of time. To improve physical coordination and cooperation, the center held outdoor games focused on balance and distinguishing between left and right sides of the body. The center also involves its wards in daily tasks around the foundation to prepare them for more autonomous lives.
