Bishop César Huerta Ramírez presides over Confirmation Mass at Parroquia Inmaculada Concepción

Bishop César Augusto Huerta Ramírez administered the sacrament of confirmation to young people at Immaculate Conception Parish in Colquemarca on 20 October.

The confirmands, many of whom were part of the secondary school catechesis program, renewed their baptismal promises during the Mass. Father Lucio González Yana, the parish priest, concelebrated the liturgy with the bishop.

During the celebration, Bishop Huerta Ramírez told godparents they must take an active role in forming their godchildren. He stated that their mission includes teaching Christian values, principles, and virtues while serving as witnesses of faith.
