California Catholic Conference of Bishops Releases 2026 Ballot Resource Guide

The California Catholic Conference of Bishops has published an informational resource to help Catholics evaluate ballot propositions for the 2026 election.

The Diocese of Oakland reported that the document is a resource rather than a voter guide. It provides the current law for each measure, the specific changes each proposition would implement, and the strongest arguments for both sides. The guide also lists relevant principles of Catholic social teaching and questions for voters to consider.
