Latin Bishop Claudio Lurati celebrates Holy Childhood Day and episcopal anniversary with children

Bishop Claudio Lurati, the Latin Bishop of Egypt, celebrated Holy Childhood Day with children from various parishes at the Franciscan Monastery of the Virgin Mary in Mokattam. The event also marked the sixth anniversary of his episcopal consecration.

The celebration included a Divine Liturgy, spiritual hymns, and formation sessions. Monsignor Antoine Tawfiq, the Latin Bishop's deputy, attended alongside several priests, monks, and nuns. Father Christophe Comboniani also participated in the organized program.

During the event, children offered prayers for Bishop Lurati, asking for blessings to support his mission as a father and pastor to the Latin Church in Egypt. The gathering focused on the theme "One in Christ, United in Mission" to encourage children to witness for Christ and strengthen their sense of belonging to the Church.
