Bishop Volodymyr Yushchak establishes new Presbyteral Council and College of Eparchial Consultants

Bishop Volodymyr Yushchak of the Eparchy of Wrocław-Koszalin issued decrees to establish the new membership of the Presbyteral Council and the College of Eparchial Consultants for the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Eparchy in Poland. The decrees, numbered 2026/387 and 2026/388, take effect on November 1, 2026.

The Presbyteral Council represents the priests of the eparchy and advises the bishop on matters concerning pastoral ministry and the good of the eparchial community. Its members include those holding specific offices, elected representatives of the clergy, and members appointed by the bishop. The College of Eparchial Consultants consists of members chosen by the bishop from among the Presbyteral Council. This college provides advice or consent to the bishop in specific cases required by canon law and performs the functions of the Presbyteral Council during a vacancy of the eparchial see.

Bishop Yushchak gave his episcopal blessing to all members of both bodies for their new service.
