Church of All Saints in Lublin to host IX Zaduszkowe Zgromadzenie Śpiewacze

The Church of All Saints in Lublin will host the IX Zaduszkowe Zgromadzenie Śpiewacze on 2.11.2026. The event begins at 18:00 at the cemetery on ul. Lipowa in Lublin, following the conclusion of Mass.

Participants will sing traditional funeral and mourning songs from the Lubelszczyzna region, using melodies drawn from oral traditions and reconstructed archival recordings. The meeting is not a concert but an open event for communal singing or listening. Singers will perform a cappella without instruments or sound reinforcement.

Organizers will provide songbooks, though they request voluntary donations to cover printing costs because the gathering is a grassroots initiative without funding. Attendees are advised to bring candles and dress warmly for the outdoor meeting. The Instytut Dobrej Śmierci serves as the patron for the event.
