Denver's Cathedral Basilica Celebrates 114 Years of Faith and Beauty

Archbishop James Golka marked the 114th anniversary of the dedication of the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception during a Mass on October 29, 2026.

During the 5:30 p.m. daily Mass, Archbishop Golka told the congregation that the cathedral's most significant asset is the generations of people who have encountered Christ within its walls rather than its architecture. The cathedral was originally dedicated in 1912.
