Diocese de Cajazeiras inaugurates new Curia Diocesana

The Diocese de Cajazeiras inaugurated the new Monsenhor Luiz Gualberto de Andrade Diocesan Curia headquarters on September 17 in Cajazeiras. Located on Avenida Joca Claudino within the Centro Diocesano de Pastoral complex, the new facilities were blessed during an evening ceremony.

Padre Damião Nunes Viana, Vigário Geral and Moderator of the Diocesan Curia, said the new structure serves as a tool for pastoral organization, the administration of Church property, ecclesial communion, and evangelization. The building is named in honor of Monsenhor Luiz Gualberto de Andrade, a priest whose work was tied to the history of the diocese and the development of the Alto Sertão da Paraíba.

The inauguration ceremony included priests, permanent deacons, seminarians, religious men and women, collaborators of the Mitra Diocesana, civil authorities, and members of the community. Luiz Gualberto de Andrade Sobrinho attended to represent the family of the honored Monsenhor.
