Diocese of Curitiba hosts 2nd Cassian Retreat

The Diocese of Curitiba will host the 2nd Cassian Retreat on November 21 for devotees of Saint Rita of Cascia. The event, themed "Saint Rita and the art of starting over," uses the biblical passage "My grace is sufficient for you" to encourage participants to reflect on their lives through faith.

The retreat focuses on the life of Saint Rita to explore how reparation and restoration can lead to hope. The program includes prayer, preaching, personal testimonies, adoration, group sharing, and Holy Mass. Participants will examine their relationship with God, with others, and with themselves.

Frei Gilberto Oliveira, OSA, the priest of Nossa Senhora da Cabeça Parish in Curitiba, will lead a session titled "Saint Rita before God." Kátia Vanzini is also scheduled to lead a session regarding Saint Rita's relationship with others. The day concludes with a musical performance.
