Diocese of Memphis Office of the Diaconate to release video series

The Diocese of Memphis Office of the Diaconate is releasing a new video series titled The Deacon Corner to encourage men to apply for the 2027 deacon cohort. The series will release two videos every Monday afternoon for seven weeks.

In the first week, Deacons Nafy Barrera and Bill Winston discuss their personal calls to the permanent diaconate and their experiences serving the Church. The series aims to help men discerning a vocation to the diaconate consider applying for the upcoming formation group.

Men interested in the permanent diaconate can find more information or apply through the diocesan vocations webpage or by emailing the office of deacon formation.
