Diocese of Pontoise and Vicariate of Sarba sign spiritual partnership

The Diocese of Pontoise and the Maronite Patriarchal Vicariate of Sarba in Lebanon signed a partnership agreement to establish a spiritual and pastoral twinning. Bishop Benoit Bertrand and Bishop Paul Rouhana signed the convention on September 13, 2026, during a pilgrimage to Notre-Dame de Pontoise and the 60th anniversary celebrations of the Diocese of Pontoise.

The agreement follows five years of preparation and establishes a framework for the two communities to share pastoral experiences, missionary efforts, and charitable works. The partnership intends to increase communion between the faithful through mutual prayer and joint initiatives.
