Diocese of Reconquista joins 40 Días por la Vida

The Diocese of Reconquista will participate in the international 40 Days for Life campaign from September 23 to November 1. The diocese announced that faithful members and people of faith in various localities will join the simultaneous global mobilization of prayer and commitment to promote a culture that protects human life.

The campaign includes prayer, fasting, and peaceful presence. Participants will gather near the Hospital Central de Reconquista to provide a public testimony in favor of life. The diocese stated that the program also invites people to pray for the end of abortion and to support women, families, and those facing vulnerable pregnancies.

This year marks 10 years of the 40 Days for Life campaign in Argentina. Organizers of the international movement have reported results including lives saved from abortion, the closure of abortion facilities, and the departure of individuals involved in the practice.
