Paroki Santa Maria Diangkat ke Surga Biak holds visitation of love

The Lukas region of Santa Maria Diangkat ke Surga Biak Parish held a visitation of love on Sunday, September 27, 2026, to visit elderly parishioners and families in need. During the event, committee members and parishioners visited homes to deliver gifts, greet residents, and pray with families.

Parish priest Sebastianus Ture Liwu, Pr., joined the visits to offer blessings to each household. Father Liwu stated that the visits serve as a sign of God's mercy flowing to the faithful, particularly those who are weak or require extra attention.

The activity serves as preparation for the upcoming feast of Santo Lukas on October 18, 2026. The parish organized the visits to strengthen the faith and hope of the community through direct service to its members.
