Diocese of Verona hosts San Francesco event

The Diocese of Verona will host a meeting titled "St. Francis: Beyond the Banality of a Myth" on Monday, September 21, at the Cinema Teatro San Massimo in Verona.

Don Simone Toffolon, a collaborator with the diocesan Ufficio Beni Culturali, will present the session. The meeting examines St. Francis through historical sources, biographical events, and art, presenting him as a radical medieval man deeply involved in the social and political tensions of his era.
