Don Luigi Maria Epicoco leads Eucharist reflection in San Miniato Basso

Don Luigi Maria Epicoco led a reflection on the Eucharist on Friday, October 30, at the church in San Miniato Basso. The event, titled "The Eucharist, Heart of the Church," drew attendees from across the diocese and from outside the diocese.

The Diocesan Service for Perpetual Adoration organized the formation session. Don Fabrizio Orsini, the parish priest of San Miniato Basso, coordinated the meeting. Don Epicoco spoke on the central role of the Eucharist in the lives of Christians and the Church, describing Eucharistic adoration as a generative force for the community.

The gathering concluded with a period of prayer and contemplation before the Blessed Sacrament. The diocesan network of adorers, which maintains daily adoration at the Oasi chapel in Capanne, used the occasion to invite people to support perpetual adoration by volunteering for one hour of weekly prayer.
