Caritas italiana, Focsiv and Fondazione Lanza to launch national ecology course

Caritas italiana, Focsiv, and Fondazione Lanza will launch the sixth edition of a national training course on integral ecology for parishes and communities. The program begins October 5 and consists of six online lessons held every Monday from 17.30 to 19.30 until December 14, 2026.

The course covers three themes: economic ecology, social ecology, and natural ecology. The economic portion examines moving away from models of unlimited growth toward an economy that serves the common good. The social ecology section addresses the link between environmental degradation and social inequality, specifically focusing on migration caused by extreme events and desertification. The final section focuses on natural ecology.
