Aid to the Church in Need supports Christian education in the Middle East

Aid to the Church in Need is providing financial support to more than 200 Christian schools in the Holy Land, Syria, and Lebanon to help over 15,000 students continue their education. The foundation also provides aid to nearly 2,500 teachers in these regions.

According to Aid to the Church in Need, these schools help stabilize Christian communities facing regional conflict and uncertainty. While most of these institutions serve students from various religions, they also act as spaces that promote coexistence and tolerance within society.

Lebanon receives the highest amount of school support from the foundation. This assistance began in 2021 to help prevent the collapse of the Lebanese education system after a banking crisis left many families unable to pay tuition fees.
