Seminarian Daniel Ribeiro attends regional meeting of liturgy coordinators in Minas Gerais

Seminarian Daniel Ribeiro, an advisor for the liturgical ministry of the Diocese of Luz, attended a regional meeting for liturgy coordinators and advisors in Santa Luzia, Minas Gerais. The event took place from September 14 to 17.

The meeting focused on liturgical music. Father Jair, an advisor for liturgical music for the CNBB Liturgy Commission, presented methods to help the liturgy facilitate an encounter with the Paschal mystery.

Ribeiro noted that the training included practical experiences to help participants understand how the rite functions in the lives of the faithful. He stated that focusing on the Paschal mystery within the rite supports the spiritual growth of all believers.
