Groupe Solidarité et Justice celebrates 30 years of existence

Groupe Solidarité et Justice celebrated 30 years of existence on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The organization, which began within the CND in 1996, held a day of remembrance and reflection.

Sister Denise Brunelle spoke at the opening, stating that the group has spent 30 years serving liberating education. The group formed during the Marche mondiale des femmes and was reinforced by the campaign for the cancellation of external debt of the poorest countries during Jubilee 2000.

The assembly included sisters and laity. The group defined its objectives and internal functioning during a large assembly of those trained in its values.
