Comunidade Católica Shalom to hold Halleluya Rio 2026 festival

Shalom Catholic Community will host the Halleluya Rio 2026 festival at Praia do Guido in Recreio on October 10 and 11. The Diocese of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro reports that the event is free to the public and will begin at 2 p.m. each day.

This edition introduces a beach setting for the first time under the concept Halleluya Beach to celebrate 30 years of the Shalom Catholic Community's presence in Rio de Janeiro. Organized under the theme “Construindo a Cidade da Paz,” the event aims to reach both practicing Catholics and those distant from the Church through music, culture, sports, and solidarity.

The festival will feature five different experience areas, including the Arena na Paz, which will serve as the main stage for musical performances and presentations.
