Handel's Messiah Bible Study

The Assumption Parish in the Diocese of Saginaw will host a Bible study on George Frideric Handel's Messiah beginning Thursday, November 5, 2026. The sessions will continue through the new year.

Participants will use a book by Stephen J. Binz to examine the scriptural quotations that form the oratorio. The study intends to connect the musical work to the biblical story of salvation.

The program suggests a $10 donation to cover the cost of the book. Interested individuals are asked to register through the parish website to ensure enough materials are prepared.
