Parohia Dumbrăvița celebrates hram

The Dumbrăvița parish community celebrated its feast day on Sunday, 4 October, following interior renovations at its church dedicated to Sfintei Fecioare Maria, Regina Rozariului.

Priest Lajos Máthé reported that renovation work took place between 2025–2026. The updates included installing marble floor tiles, new pews, a new confessional, and repaired walls and ceilings in the nave. The parish also installed a climate control system for heating and cooling, supported by new solar panels.

The liturgy was celebrated by Dorin Gyula Filip, paroh of Ciacova. He was joined by co-celebrants Augustin Bărbuț, paroh of Timișoara IX Marienheim, Ionuț Cătălin Blidar, and Lajos Máthé. The church adult choir, led by cantor Mihály Bodrogi, and the Angelis children's choir, led by Cristina Blaj, provided the music.
