Il Papa in Francia: «La pace non nè un equilibrio di forze. Il riarmo non è una soluzione»

Pope Leo XIV told government leaders and diplomats in France that peace cannot be achieved through a balance of forces and that rearmament is not a solution. During his first speech in the country, the Pope called for an end to the arms race and urged leaders to abandon the belief that possessing nuclear weapons ensures security.

The Pope said that the country must promote peace, multilateralism, and the defense of life against the manipulations of artificial intelligence. He also expressed opposition to euthanasia, surrogacy, and the sale of organs.
