Patriarch of Venice Comments on Dante's Verses for Saint Francis

The Patriarch of Venice commented on Dante's verses written in honor of Saint Francis during a Biennale della Parola event held at the Sala delle Colonne in Ca’ Giustinian. The program focused on the concluding verses of Canto X and the entirety of Canto XI.

The Patriarch described the poet's tribute to the saint as being small in its personal choice yet great in its historical impact.
