Fraternità San Francesco and Ordine Francescano Secolare hold prayer event in Pesaro

Fraternità San Francesco and Ordine Francescano Secolare will host a prayer and meditation event titled "Transito del Padre San Francesco" on Saturday, October 3, at 21:00. The event will take place at the Santuario della Beata Vergine delle Grazie in Pesaro, a site that was formerly the church of San Francesco.

The program commemorates the 800th anniversary of the death of San Francesco d’Assisi. Participants will follow a retelling of the saint's final hours based on the Fonti Francescane through songs and recited parts. The Diocese of Pesaro stated the event serves to rediscover the saint's messages of peace, fraternity, simplicity, and trust in God.
