Diocese of Huelva initiates preparation itinerary for Diocesan Assembly

The Diocese of Huelva has started a preparation process to involve the entire diocesan community in the upcoming Diocesan Assembly scheduled for June 5 and 6, 2027.

The itinerary uses the theme from the Bishop of Huelva's pastoral letter, "As disciples of the Lord, we walk together to renew the mission." The process begins with individual personal experiences before moving toward community meetings and ecclesial discernment.

This effort combines the review of the Orientaciones Pastorales Diocesanas 2022-2027 with the implementation of the Documento Final del Sínodo sobre la Sinodalidad. The diocese intends to use these processes to evaluate recent pastoral work and integrate calls for a more participatory and missionary Church.
