Malta House names three new board members

Malta House has appointed three new directors to its board of directors, according to an announcement from the Diocese of Bridgeport.

The new board members are Father Sam Kachuba, the Vicar for Young Adult Ministries of the Diocese of Bridgeport and former pastor of St. Pius X Parish; Heather Keane, owner and Chief Marketing Officer of Visiting Angels in Stamford; and Troy Pinto, an executive at LinkedIn. Board Chair Michael O’Rourke stated that the new members bring unique skills to support the organization's vision for helping vulnerable mothers and children.

Based in Norwalk, Malta House is a non-profit that provides shelter, support services, and independent living skills to pregnant and parenting mothers and their children. Since 1998, the ministry has assisted more than 900 families by offering counseling, financial education, and parental development, along with transitional and post-residential support.
