Mario Aguado tells wife Maite he loves her after train accident

Mario Aguado requested that bystanders deliver a message to his wife following a train accident in Toledo. While Maite Aguado searched for her husband, Mario asked that people tell her to care for their children and that God is good, according to reports from Alfa y Omega and Omnes.

The accident occurred on a Wednesday as Mario was traveling to Seville for work. Maite, who remained in Madrid with their three children, said she had been angry during their morning departure and had not expressed her love to him. After receiving news of the train accident, she feared he had died.

Maite later learned from a witness at the scene that Mario was conscious but heavily medicated and suffering from a serious leg injury. She described finding refuge in prayer during the period of uncertainty regarding his condition and hospital location. The family had recently returned to Spain following a difficult evangelization mission.
