Mary Hennessy publishes book of spiritual writings

Mary Hennessy has released a book of spiritual writings titled “Daring Steps: From Darkness to Light.” Hennessy collaborated with Father Jim Perkl, her pastor at Mary, Mother of the Church in Burnsville, to produce the work, which is currently available on Amazon.

The book combines Hennessy's meditations with icons provided by Father Perkl. Hennessy, 79, wrote the meditations after receiving them during prayer during periods of grief and loss. She stated that she kept a notebook by her bed to record the messages, which she felt were words of love and compassion from Jesus rather than her own.
