Bishop de Kerimel calls for Christian engagement in the Diocese of Toulouse

Bishop de Kerimel issued a message to the Christians of the Diocese of Toulouse addressing political, economic, social, and educational difficulties. He noted that the country is losing fundamental values and that society has become increasingly relative, which he said can lead to the violation of human dignity.

The bishop stated that Christians should not merely lament the current situation but should use the Gospel to discern their mission. He said Christians must refuse to view others as enemies and should participate in the service of the country while praying for its leaders.

To address these issues, the bishop presented two proposals and an initiative from the conference of bishops. The first proposal is to be implemented immediately, and the second involves a fundamental work on education scheduled for the end of November.
