Notice of Press Conference

The Holy See Press Office will hold a press conference on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. to discuss an upcoming meeting between Pope Leo XIV, the heads of the Eastern Churches, and the presidents of episcopal conferences. The meeting, titled Ten years after Amoris Laetitia: proclaiming the Gospel with families today, is scheduled to take place in the Paul VI Hall from the afternoon of Wednesday, October 7, through the late afternoon of Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

Pope Leo XIV will conclude the gathering by presiding over Holy Mass in Saint Peter’s Square at 10:00 a.m. on October 14.

The press conference will be livestreamed in its original language on the Vatican News YouTube channel. Journalists and media operators wishing to participate remotely must apply through the Holy See Press Office online accreditation system at least two hours before the event begins. Those admitted to participate virtually will receive a link to a platform that allows them to ask questions.
