Bishop Itacir Brassiani discusses the upcoming Solemnity of All Saints and All Blessed

Bishop Itacir Brassiani of Santa Cruz do Sul noted that Catholic communities will celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints and All Blessed this coming Sunday.

Writing for the CNBB, Brassiani observed that terms such as saint, holiness, and blessed often lack popularity in modern society. He noted that people frequently substitute these traditional words with expressions like special or differentiated, which can make the concept of holiness seem like a relic of the past.
