Pater Dominikus Hodo leads Misa Syukur Bulan Kitab Suci Nasional

Father Dominikus Hodo, Pr., led a thanksgiving Mass for Bulan Kitab Suci Nasional 2026 and the closing of Pra Pekan Cahaya II on September 20, 2026. The event, organized by YKAP and the Komisi Kerasulan Kitab Suci Keuskupan Timika, took place at the Kapela Kantor Keuskupan Timika.

During the homily, Father Hodo, who chairs the scripture commission, encouraged children and young people to seek God by reading and studying the Kitab Suci. He stated that studying scripture should go beyond gaining knowledge to help people know God and experience conversion. He described conversion as surrendering one's life completely to God, citing the message of Santo Paulus in the Surat Rasul Paulus kepada Jemaat di Filipi.
