Père Tung celebrates Saint Laurent in Villars

Father Tung led a Mass for Saint Lawrence in Villars on Sunday, September 20, to honor the patron saint of the local church. The Villars bell tower leadership scheduled the celebration for this date to allow more parishioners to attend, as the saint is typically honored on August 10. The mayor and several municipal councilors attended the service.

During the Mass, Father Tung asked for the intercession of Saint Lawrence for the residents of the commune. The celebration also marked the entry of Aurore, Cécile, André, and Simon into catechesis, which serves as the first step toward their first communion or confirmation.
