40 Days for Life launches prayer vigils across the US

40 Days for Life has started a series of prayer vigils outside abortion clinics across the United States. The campaign runs from September 23 through November 1.

Shawn Carney, the president and CEO of 40 Days for Life, said the group is focusing on opposing abortion pills during this campaign. He noted that the organization is also running a national billboard campaign to warn against the pills and offer abortion pill reversal in cities such as Boston, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. Carney stated that the group has helped save lives nearly 27,000 times and provides medical care and follow-up for mothers.
