Diocese of Bragança Paulista holds annual priest retreat

Priests from the Diocese of Bragança Paulista are meeting at the Itaici Monastery for their annual retreat from September 21 to 24.

The retreat provides a period for silence, prayer, and spiritual renewal. Participants will reflect on the mission of the Church in light of the Diretrizes Gerais da Ação Evangelizadora da Igreja no Brasil and the 5º Plano Diocesano de Pastoral. The gathering also serves to strengthen communion among the priests.

Father Carlos Javier Werner Benjumea, a member of the Sociedade Apostólica Virgo Flos Carmeli, is leading the retreat. He is a professor at the Instituto Teológico São Tomás Aquino and the director of the Revista Lumen Veritatis.
